My husband and I began working with Eileen in the search for our new home in late 2013. She came highly recommended by a number of our friends that had previously worked with her. We were both nervous and excited as the whole experience was a first for us. We had no clue where to begin. From day one, Eileen took us under her wing and set out the path we would take starting with finding us an awesome mortgage broker.During a long few months we searched endlessly for the perfect home. Eileen was always available whenever it suited me. Being a full time working mum, it meant that our schedule wasn't always fluid but Eileen's always was! She wanted to find us the perfect home and if that meant late evenings and weekends trawling through the Chicago snow then that's what we did. For some showings she even met me at my train station after work to go to a late evening showing and dropped me home afterwards!!I remember Eileen even checked out a few houses by herself to rule them out to save me a wasted trip if the house "wasn't for us". From the beginning Eileen knew what we wanted and she never gave up the search until she found it for us. When we found it and fell in love with it, the house was a dreaded "short sale" which is the most deceiving title ever for this process! Having no clue what that meant Eileen warned us day one this type of transaction wasn't for the faint hearted but we decided to move forward anyway as we loved the house so much! A long and difficult 8 months passed with countless hiccups and stress along the way. There were times I wanted to pull out and start again as the end seemed like it would never come. Eileen was willing to do that but always with the caveat that she felt this house was worth waiting for! Through endless emails, phone calls and texts Eileen held my faltering hand through the entire process until she was finally by my side the day we got our keys! I cannot stress enough that I would not have continued with the process without Eileen's continuous support and encouragement that it would be worth it. Eileen has a tremendous passion for her job and In my opinion goes above and beyond the call of duty for her clients. She knew our house was worth waiting for and she was right! We have been "home" now for four months and couldn't be happier! I started this process with Eileen because She came so highly recommended by many people I knew. I finished the process and can happily now call Eileen a friend!
